Another thing, the terrain matters far more than any RTS I've played before. Or, at least, if there are it doesn't mean that whatever tactic you use won't do equally as well if you implement it thoughtfully. There are just so many units, and since each has it's own role and you can combine multiple units, seemingly infinite tactics to try! This doesn't seem to be a game where there are meta strategies, either. Every unit in the game truly does have its own role, meaning the game is incredibly difficult to get bored of. TrustworthyRindr's Experience BAR (short for Beyond All Reason) is hands down my favourite ground-based RTS.
